ELDRICK groups you with golfers who swing like you (by speed, miss and ball flight), looks at what it prescribed and picked for that group across real fittings, and grades each club A to D on how often it was the right answer. You see the grade, the share of golfers it was picked for, and which prescribed specs the club offers.
Five answers: the club to fit (driver, fairway wood, hybrid, irons or wedges), whether you're right- or left-handed, your swing speed with that club in mph (or your ball speed), your usual miss (fade or slice, draw or hook, straight, or both ways) and how your ball flight usually looks (too low, good or too high). Launch monitor numbers, your height and your current club are optional and make the fit sharper. The fitting is free and takes about two minutes; ELDRICK returns your specs and the clubs that match them, with prices, in about 20 to 50 seconds.

It follows your speed. ELDRICK's driver tables: up to about 71 mph, 40–49 g; up to 86 mph, 50–59 g; up to 110 mph, 60–69 g; faster, 70–79 g. Flex: Senior up to about 78 mph, Regular to 92, Stiff to 104, Stiff+ to 108, then X-Stiff. Your tempo and ball flight can move it one step.
Not always. If your current head type already suits your swing, the right shaft and length can matter more than a new model. ELDRICK will tell you when your current driver is already a strong fit.

To stay ELDRICK's pick, keep your fitted flex; loft within 1° of your fitting (wedges: any loft in your fitted wedge set); a shaft in your fitted weight band (irons: one band either way is fine); any head in the same category, any shaft model, any grip; length within ½" and swing weight within 2 points; any lie. A head from another category (Players to Game Improvement, say), or swing weight more than 2 points off: 60-day returns. A different flex, loft more than 1° off, another shaft weight (irons: two bands or more), or length more than ½" off: 30-day returns. Return shipping is paid by you. Used clubs are fine to return; a damaged club voids the return and we ship it back to you at our cost.
